New Challenger Youth Football Program is specifically for boys and girls age 5 and older with cognitive and/or physical disabilities in Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex and Mercer Counties. Participating in the program will give these children the opportunity to transform their disabilities into abilities & have fun. Players will practice once a week & will engage in a friendly inner squad flag football game on Sundays. The players will be able to exercise regularly to become stronger & healthier & build a network of friends, support and trust. No scores will be kept, it will be a fun, social, and competitive environment.

The PPYFC coaching staff is excited to be working with the Point Pleasant Boro High School Varsity Head Football Coach, and PPYFC Football Advisor, Sean Henry and his players as buddies to make the experience one that our special needs players will enjoy and remember for a lifetime! The program is designed to mirror a very successful Basketball Challenger program run by the Point Boro High School Varsity Head Coach Kevin Hynes and his players. It’s a win-win end result for both the Challenger players and the high school coaching staff and players!
