Mid Atlantic Resource Group's 2nd Annual Casino Royale Night
The second annual Gala Event caused a great stir of excitement and fun. Blackjack tables, roulette, Texas Hold’em, horse racing, dancing and of course, food and drink was offered. What a fun casino night was put on by the Mid Atlantic Resource Group (MARG) Foundation’s Gala Event on March 27, 2010 at Branches in West Long Branch. Desiring to make a difference in the communities it serves, by supporting charities whose main mission is to help challenged children; the Mid Atlantic Resource Group LLC (a full service financial services firm) founded their Foundation in 2008. This year FRA was the fortunate recipient of their generosity with a $10,000 donation raised from this enjoyable evening.
“It is this kind of community support that makes a difference in the lives of children with special needs! Bringing these entities together offers new possibilities for growth for so many,” said Nancy Phalanukorn, executive director of FRA. This year in addition to FRA, The Frances Foundation and Homes for our Troops were generously supported. “It is our pleasure to meet our goals to support these groups,” said Art Hodes, MARG Foundation President, as he presented each with a check with much joy and gratitude.
FRA thanks all who made this possible, especially the Foundation Members who work so hard all year to raise this money through their various activities. Their next Gala Event is planned for May 14, 2011.
