SPECIAL EDUCATOR - Adult Class Instructors

Special education teachers are being sought part time to teach unique computer–based classes.  Ideal candidates are patient, creative, respectful, dynamic, and embrace the idea that adults with intellectual and developmental disAbilities are capable of learning and living full and enriched lives.  Classes encourage continued learning, pre-employment, communication and social skills to foster greater independence and confidence. Classes run in 12 week sessions that focus on computer skills training and pre-vocational skills development. Each class runs about 2 hours with a typical course load of two classes per day.
