LifeWork has supported transitioning high school students and adults in supported employment opportunities for a life that works since 2006. Job coaches support workers to make their own decisions, focusing on strengths and capabilities as they search for employment that builds on passions, dreams and preferences. Follow along services help workers maintain their jobs. Collaborations with school districts offer students community-based vocational services to make the transition from school to work more effective.

Pre-vocational training classes at FRA build skills with computer activities and work-ready skills like jewelry making, woodworking, and visual arts.  Classes in job readiness, appropriate behaviors, job communications and employer expectations foster the soft skills needed for successful work.

A new continuum of services is growing for the community of people who traditionally have difficulty finding employment. TOGETHER, a new environment for people with intellectual and developmental disAbilities will empower them with unique choices for a future filled with satisfaction, greater independence and a sense of purpose and community in a workplace. Using  person-centered discovery we provide job development, including Customized Employment and supported employment through job coaching.
